ScreamWorks’ productions are popular among both horror fans and non horror fans. We give each of our productions a scare rating. For example, the Haunted House is a 2/5, because it is more of an investigative experience than a scary one. Almost everyone who comes to one of our shows, whether they eagerly booked the tickets or were dragged along by a horror fan, end up having a lot of fun and leaving us 5* reviews. Take a leap of faith. You are among friends and we will protect you - after all, we want you to be a repeat customer so there is no sense in killing you ;-)

Our minimum order for securing a booking is £135.00 (2 or 3 Players). If you are organizing a group booking but don’t want to pay for all your friends, then purchase a ‘Ticket for 3 Players’ and give your friends the following link, so they can add themselves to your existing booking: http://bit.ly/3NuVA2B

There is no difference in price whether you book all tickets now, or some now and some later.

You will need to give them the Ticket Code for your existing booking, as we require this info at checkout to make sure we add the correct people to the correct booking.

If you purchase Escape Room Insurance, then we will allow your group to complete the experience, even if you have run out of time (up to an additional 30 minutes). You will be offered this upgrade at checkout. If you would like to add this product to an existing booking, click here.

If you complete the experience within 90 minutes (or 60 minutes for the limited experience), then we will refund this upgrade to you in full.

We are the only escape room in the UK which can allow up to 48 simultaneous players. Groups exceeding six players will be divided into groups and pitted against each other in real time. As The Haunted House is a non-linear game, each group will complete the experience in a different order. For groups over 12 players, please email info@screamworks.co.uk in advance of making your booking.

The experience will last approx. 105 minutes, including a briefing beforehand, and a chat about how it went afterwards. You will have 90 minutes to complete the game from the moment you enter the first room. There are nine game rooms in total, not including corridors, staircases or tunnels.

We consider this experience more fun than scary. Your mission is to discover what happened to the six ghost hunters who went missing in this house before you, so think of it more as a mystery/ investigation than a scare attraction. You will be given advance warning of all elements and can opt out of any activity without detracting from your experience. Relax, you will love it!

We will give you a secure area to leave your belongings including your phones.

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes with a good grip - trainers are perfect. Please avoid high heel shoes or any shoes which have a smooth leather bottom, like formal wear.

We will do our best to make The Haunted House accessible to you, but would ask you to email us in advance of making your booking so we can discuss your access requirements.

Larger groups will be split up into smaller teams, but you will be admitted into the house at the same time. There a nine rooms, so we will give each group a different suggested route through the house; you may encounter each other at times, but just in passing, and this can really add to the fun and the competitive spirit.

Unfortunately, we do not offer concession discounts on our escape room experiences. However, we often publish offers to incentivize the purchase of slots which we would like to fill, so check the Offers page on our website regularly to grab yourself a bargain.

Yes, but it is hidden behind a fake picture frame, so if you want to use it, you will have to work out where it is for yourself… well, this is an escape room ;-)

If you give us more than 72 hours notice, we will move your booking to another date/time, usually free-of-charge. For less than 72 hours notice or (late/ no-shows), we cannot offer a refund but we can exchange your booking at the reduced price of £20.00 per ticket.

If you are more than 15 minutes late for your booking, we WILL refuse admission and treat your booking as a ‘no show’.
